Elyse is an active professional singer/songwriter in the vibrant Melbourne music scene, with a strong passion for performing and creative songwriting, whether as a solo artist or with her Bordeaux Band. Elyse Bordeaux is rapidly establishing herself as a promising Australian artist.

Growing up in a music enthusiast family, Elyse found it was easy to feel inspired to enter the creative world of music. She started her journey with a talent for Musical Theatre throughout high school, participating in concerts, musicals and events for friends and family. She also completed VCE Music Performance and pursued her passion by obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Music (Contemporary Music Performance) at JMC Academy Melbourne. Performing in numerous events with her two years spent at JMC, she was definitely noticed for her talent from her lecturers and peers, being offered the opportunity to record her debut single Ok By January in the University’s recording studio…

Expanding her music career and diving into her love for music teaching, with a number of years of teaching experience, from other passions she pursues, aside from music. Elyse uses her expert teaching knowledge and music theory to create diverse techniques in vocal performance in her classes. This background enables her to individually tailor lessons to each student's preferences, creating an ideal safe and supportive learning environment for individual growth.

Being described as a ‘a lively pocket rocket’ with her enthusiastic and unique personality, she encourages her students to explore and bring out their unique style within their lessons as well as developing creativity, and fostering a genuine love for music.

In teaching music theory, Elyse incorporates interactive and kinaesthetic methods to engage students mentally and physically, ensuring knowledge retention through hands-on learning experiences that are both educational and enjoyable.
