FAQs

Why are payments made by the school terms?

Bulk payments by the school terms has found to be the easiest way to ensure payments are not missed and paid on time. As well as having students that are sure on continuous lessons, making it easier to think less about individual casual rate payments with simply term by term bulk payments.

Do you run on the term holidays?

We are open the first week of the holidays as this is the best time to have any makeup lessons that you wish to schedule in, as well as additional classes such as a holiday program will be running. We then close for the second week of the term holidays and re open when schools commence.

How did you come up with your rates?

Bordeaux Broadcasting follows through the VMTA (Victorian Music Teachers Association) and music teaching and studies qualifications have selected and alterd for classes. The selected prices from VMTA are used through almost all music teaching companies; and the prices have been altered (slightly lowered) due to being a brand new company in the music industry, forming new clients and contacts.

What happens if the student or teacher has to cancel the lesson?

If a student misses a lesson, they can use 1 of the 2 makeup lesson credits that all students receive. These 2 credits are valid for the first six months of the year. An additional 2 credits are available for the remaining 6 months of the year.

If the teacher has cancelled, students will not partake in their lesson and will be given a makeup lesson on top of the 2 credits that they have.

Why do the classes start from specific ages?

Here at Bordeaux Broadcasting we believe that students are ready around the age of around 8 years old to start developing solid passions and interests. The age selection also comes into play with their reading, understanding and speech/voice maturity. As we all know the voice changes and so we develop the students singing voice and learn how to change and progress it as they get older.
